It was moving to see the prayer vigil at the Basilica. Not only did we come together to help Lewiston and surrounding areas heal, it showed the brilliance of our founding fathers when they included religious freedom in our Constitution.

I can’t believe what is going on in this world and in this country.

Hamas attacked Israel and now it’s defending itself. Hamas didn’t care about the thousands of Palestinians they knew would be killed once they attacked.

My understanding, like Putin, is that wealthy leaders have homes outside the country. They can safely sit back and watch the carnage happening.

I also understand the humanitarian help going into Gaza is being stolen from  Palestinians by Hamas.

Maybe the war would enable the people of Gaza to see the evil of Hamas and get them off their backs, and get them to live the lives of independence and safety they need.

In this country, the demonstrators advocating for ethnic cleansing should be arrested for racial hate speech. The universities that don’t stand up for one of the most powerful parts of our Constitution should lose any public funding immediately.

It’s scary what is going on.
