MANCHESTER — William Young, 44, had an infectious laugh and he enjoyed spending time with his family, according to his obituary. He enjoyed watching wrestling with his father, attending local fairs to watch and heckle professional wrestlers.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and spent the last decade working as an automobile mechanic, most recently with Auburn’s Auto City of Maine, according to his obituary. The father of three was always there for his family, including his father, who would work on cars and garden with him, his sister Wendy Bell said at a vigil. He was known as the “backbone” of his family, according to his wife, Cindy Young.
Young was at Just-In-Time Recreation Wednesday, Oct. 25, with his 14-year-old son, Aaron Young, bowling.
Relatives and friends are invited to his memorial service Friday at Hope Baptist Church, 726 Western Ave. in Manchester beginning at 11 a.m., with a visitation scheduled before at 9:30 a.m.
