OTISFIELD — The Social Outreach Committee is hosting a Community Thanksgiving ‘Lunch’ on Wednesday, Nov. 15 from 11:30-12:30 at the Community Hall at 292 Route 121 in Otisfield. It will feature all the fixins’: Roasted turkey with gravy and stuffing, mashed potatoes, squash, cranberry sauce, rolls, and pies for dessert.  The meal is offered free but donations keep it going, along with many dedicated volunteers. We have much to be grateful for in our community.

WEST PARIS — The Finnish-American Heritage Society of Maine will hold its monthly meeting at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 19 at the Finn-Am Hall at 8 Maple Street in West Paris. Following a brief business meeting, members of Tunnen Iloa will perform a short program of seasonal music on their kanteles. As always, refreshments abound on the coffee table and all are invited to attend.
