YARMOUTH — A half-dozen different goal-scorers helped North Yarmouth Academy skate past Bridgton Academy 7-1 in the Panthers’ season opener Wednesday night at Travis Roy Arena.
Cole Lambert led the way with two goals, while Lewiston native Conor Wolverton and Auburn’s Ethan Brochu each tallied two assists in the win.
Hugo Daniel, Curtis Brown, Jan Maier, Grey Perham and Matt Brown also scored for NYA, which put four goals in the back of the net in the first period.
Aidan McAuslin made 24 saves to earn the win.
Other area players on this year’s NYA roster include: Connor Morissette (Lewiston), Deagan Nadeau (Sabattus), William Michaelis (Auburn), Nick Pelletier (Lewiston) and Matthew Powers (Turner).
