Raymond J. Fontaine

FARMINGTON – Raymond J. Fontaine, 79, a resident of Livermore Falls, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington, following a brief illness. He was born September 12, 1944, in Livermore Falls, the son of Raymond H. Fontaine and Madeleine L. (Jacques) Fontaine. A 1962 graduate of Livermore Falls High School, he worked for many years in the Otis Mill, where he eventually retired. His love of hunting and Harley riding with friends sustained him for many years. Skilled and talented at numerous tasks; there was very little Ray could not build or repair. He is survived by his daughter, Lorinda Fontaine-Farris of Orrs Island, and his son, Stacey Raymond Fontaine of Kennebunk. Messages of condolence may be sent to: http://www.finleyfuneralhome.com
