LISBON — Colin Schlobohm led a balanced Leavitt offense in a 51-31 inter-conference victory over Lisbon in a boys basketball game Tuesday night.

Schlobohm finished with 12 points to lead the Hornets in scoring. Aiden Turcotte added eight points for Leavitt (1-1), out of the KVAC, and Dane Cabral tallied seven. The Hornets had 11 different players make a basket.

MVC member Lisbon’s (0-2) top scorer was Owen Hurd, with 15 points. Keeghan Morrissette and DeSean Trufant finished with four points each.

LAKE REGION 70, OAK HILL 50: Brock Gibbons and Evan Duprey combined for 18 first half points for the Lakers (2-0) as they ran out to a 43-16 halftime advantage and easily handled the Raiders (0-1) at Naples.

Gibbons finished with 20 points, while Duprey tossed in 12.

Landon Denis powered the offense for Oak Hill with 19 points, Isaac Galvez added 10.

MADISON 54, TELSTAR/GOULD 43: Ethan Linkletter led the way with 16 points as the Bulldogs took down the Rebels in Madison.

Deacon Murray (15 points) and Nate Cornforth (10 points) joined Linkletter in double figures for Madison (2-0). Brode Strout (eight) and Brayden Furbush (five) rounded out the scoring for the Bulldogs.

Brody Morgan had a game-high 19 points for Telstar/Gould (0-2).

ST. DOMINIC 72, BOOTHBAY 28: Campbell Perryman tallied 20 points to lead the Saints (2-0) in a win against the Seahawks (2-0) in Boothbay Harbor.

Kai Taylor contributed 17 points for St. Dom’s and Logan Carey finished with 11.

Finn Harkins chipped in 13 points for Boothbay and Luke Morley contributed six.

DIRIGO 58, SACOPEE VALLEY 49: Nathaniel Wainwright helped will the Cougars to the win against the Hawks with 17 points in Dixfield.

Travis Wright contributed 15 points and Owen Smith added 11 for Dirigo.

For Sacopee Valley, Dylan Capano and Silas Nielsen both led the scoring with 11 points each. Payton Young chipped in nine points.

MONMOUTH ACADEMY 56, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 34: Sam Calder scored 24 points to lead the Mustangs (1-1) over the Seagulls (1-1) in Old Orchard Beach.

Levi Laverdiere added 11 points for Monmouth Academy.

Derrick Webber led OOB with nine points.

MOUNTAIN VALLEY 76, POLAND 51: Jake New and Jyrmmal Yates each scored 19 points as the Falcons (1-1) beat the Knights (0-2) in Poland.

Ben Desalle added 17 points and Tanner Henry 10 for Mountain Valley.

Damon Martin finished with 13 points and Anthony Warren had 12 for Poland.

WINTHROP 60, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 34: Cole Bard scored 17 points as the Ramblers (2-0) earned the easy win at Winthrop.

Carter Rivers added 13 points and Chan Ring 11 for Winthrop.

Brayden Kloza scored 10 points for NYA (0-2).

MT. ABRAM 57, VALLEY 47: Cam Grey scored 20 points for the Roadrunners in a Class C/D crossover victory over the Cavaliers in Bingham.

Payton Mitchell scored 12 points, while Logan Dube added 10 points for Mt. Abram (2-0).

Fisher Tewksbury led Valley (0-2) with 23 points, while Harry Louis added 18.

MESSALONSKEE 40, LEWISTON 31: Ty Bernier scored 17 points as the Eagles (2-0) earned the win in Lewiston.

Merrick Smith added 12 points for Messalonskee, which led 19-15 at the half.

Lonnie Thomas scored nine points for Lewiston (0-2).

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 59, MT. ARARAT 42: Nate Hebert racked up 22 points for the Patriots to help secure the win over the Eagles in Topsham.

John Patenaude chipped in 16 points for Gray-New Gloucester (1-1).

Andrew Clemons finished with 11 points for Mt. Ararat (0-1) and Kasey Bergeron added 10 points.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 45, WINTHROP 42: Ella Giguere stole the ball for a buzzer-beating layup and was fouled, finishing the three-point play, to lift North Yarmouth Academy to a 45-42 win over Winthrop in a high school girls basketball game in Yarmouth.

Graca Bila scored 19 points for NYA (2-0), while Giguere finished with 14.

Kylee Mansir scored 19 points for Winthrop (1-1).

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 32, MONMOUTH ACADEMY 28: Sarah Davis scored 13 points and pulled down 10 rebounds as the Seagulls (2-0) topped the Mustangs (0-2) in Old Orchard Beach.

Tess Ferguson added 10 points for Old Orchard Beach.

Kaitlyn Frost and Reese Beaudoin had nine points apiece for Monmouth Academy.

LAKE REGION 46, OAK HILL 16: Margo Tremblay finished with 12 points for the Lakers (2-0), finalizing the win over the Raiders (0-1) in Wales.

Ava and Bella Smith both contributed 10 points for Lake Region.

Kendall Theriault led the Oak Hill scoring with six points and Mackenzee Wardwell chipped in five points.

MT. ARARAT 43, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 37: Abbie Doble scored 11 points to lead the Eagles (2-0) to victory over the Eagles (1-1) in Gray.

Kennedy Lampert added nine points for Mt. Ararat.

For Gray-New Gloucester, Izzy Morelli finished with 14 points and Ella Kenney added nine.

VALLEY 73, MT. ABRAM 22: Kirsten Bigelow had 19 points Madeline Hill added 17 as the Cavaliers (2-0) won easily in Bingham.

Hill also had seven assists and seven steals. Liana Hartwell had 13 points, nine rebounds and eight assists. Brianna Mills had 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Mt. Abram falls to 1-1.

POLAND 43, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 33: Charlotte Grenier led the Knights to victory with 15 points on the road in Rumford.

Althea Thornton finished with 14 points for Poland (1-1).

Brooke Bennett tallied nine points for the Falcons (0-2) and Madison Blanchard chipped in eight.

LEAVITT 73, LISBON 12: Gabrielle Smith tallied 19 points, leading the Hornets’ win against the Greyhounds in Turner.

Caitlyn McCoy followed closely behind with 17 points for Leavitt (1-1) and Jordyn Boulay also tallied double digits with 11 points.

Riley Kuuetauskcis led Lisbon’s (0-2) offense, finishing with six points, and the rest of the scorers, Kasie Booker, Delaney McGrath and Halen Richard, each scored two.

LEWISTON 72, MESSALONSKEE 55: Natalie Beaudoin had a game-high 32 points for the Blue Devils (2-0) in the win over the Eagles in Oakland.

Koral Morin dropped in 16 points for Lewiston.

Ashley Mullen led Messalonskee with 29 points. Ella Hanson chipped in with 12 points.
