Marquis’s poster is among more than 300,000 entries worldwide in the 11th annual International Peace Poster Contest.

“Peace is very important and people all over the world should be involved in it,” the 13 year-old from Mechanic Falls said.

Out of the posters created by the Elm Street School students, Marquis’s entry best portrayed the contest’s theme.
