FARMINGTON — Local police arrested an East Dixfield man Wednesday and seized 75 grams of cocaine and cocaine base, along with cash and a 9 mm pistol.
Members of the Farmington Police Department and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency executed a search warrant at noon Wednesday at 733 Knowlton Road in Farmington, according to a news release.
The search warrant was the result of a two-month investigation into alleged trafficking of cocaine and cocaine base, otherwise known as crack, conducted by Farmington Sgt. Ethan Boyd.
In addition to the drugs, police also seized $3,260 in cash.
D’kota R. Rowe, 29, was arrested and charged with unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, a class B felony punishable by up to 10 years in jail and $10,000 in fines. He was also charged with misdemeanor unlawful possession of a scheduled drug.
Rowe is being held without bail at the Franklin County Detention Center.
