Utility and construction crews repair a water main break Friday afternoon on Pleasant Street in Oxford. Norway Water District Superintendent Frank Britton said a break in a 6-inch main did not shut down water to the nearby elementary school, post office or homes. Employees of the Norway and Oxford water districts, Everett Excavation and Central Maine Power were called to help with the repair, which was expected to be completed later in the day, Britton said.
