Amanda Adamen is set in February to join professional clinical health care teams at both Bethel Family Health Center and Western Maine Family Health Center.
Adamen earned her Master of Science degree in nursing, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, from Rivier University. Previously, she earned her associate degree in nursing from the Maine College of Health Professions in Lewiston, as well as her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Maine at Augusta.
Adamen’s wealth of mental health care experience includes time spent in a variety of settings, including both psychiatric centers and schools, according to a HealthReach news release.
“I believe that challenges and struggles are unique opportunities to grow, develop, and thrive as individuals,” Adamen said. “At the heart of my clinical practice is a deep commitment to offering nonjudgmental, holistic, and patient-centered mental health care that supports people in reaching their fullest potential. By recognizing individual strengths and building upon natural supportive factors, my goal is to help people of all ages build healthy social connections and gain a sense of emotional wellness.”
