LISBON — Madeline Wagner dropped in 17 points in Winthrop’s 55-13 win over Lisbon in an MVC girls basketball game Friday.

Ella Rice hit three 3s and had a total of 11 points for the Ramblers (6-2).

Delaney McGrath and Deanna Adams each scored four points for the Greyhounds (0-8).

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 75, OAK HILL 20: Jaydn Pingree led the Phoenix (7-2) with 19 points in the win over the Raiders (0-7) in Jay.

Jazmine Pingree and Maddie Grimaldi each had 15 points.

Haylee Harris led Oak Hill with six points and Michaela Pontbriand had five.

MOUNTAIN VALLEY 55, BOOTHBAY 33: Alyvia Theriault paced the Falcons (3-5) with 13 points in a win against the Seahawks (3-7) in Boothbay Harbor.

Brooke Bennett and Maisy Chase each had 10 points in the win.

Bella Orr led Boothbay with eight points.

TELSTAR 40, MT. ABRAM 22: Morgan Zetts led the Rebels with 32 points in a win over the Roadrunners in Salem.

Karen Marshall had the other eight points for Telstar.

Jenna Osgood led Mt. Abram with five points.

LEWISTON 46, BANGOR 43: Koral Morin’s 3-pointer at the buzzer broke a tie and gave the Blue Devils (7-4) a Class AA North road win over the Rams (7-3) in Bangor.

Morin led Lewiston as it overcame a 35-30 deficit in the fourth quarter, scoring seven of her game-high 24 points in the period. She hit three treys in the game.

Ellie Legare also made three 3s and finished with nine points, and Natalie Beaudoin scored five of her eight points in the fourth for the Blue Devils, who halted a two-game losing skid.

Bangor, which has lost three straight after winning its first seven games, was led by Avery Clark’s 23 points. Emily Adams added 12 points.

BOYS BASKETBALL
VALLEY 96, RANGELEY 23: Fisher Tewksbury scored 20 points as the Cavaliers (6-3) won handily in Bingham.

Caleb Miller had 16 points and nine rebounds for Valley, which saw 11 players enter the score sheet. Colin Nichols scored 15 points, Jared Ricker added 10 and Hunter Mills pulled down 11 rebounds.

Brayden Thompson scored nine points for Rangeley (2-7).

LEWISTON 66, BANGOR 57: Abdirahman Dakane led the Blue Devils (2-9) with 18 points in the win over the Rams (1-9) in Lewiston.

Lonnie Thomas also had a big game, with 16 points.

Ryan Ford led Bangor with 14 points and Kamron Tardif finished with 13 in the loss.
