JAY — Jaydn Pingree had a game-high 23 points in Spruce Mountain’s 80-28 win over visiting Dirigo in a Mountain Valley Conference girls basketball game Thursday.

Avery Bessey had five of the Phoenix’s (9-2) 14 made 3s and finished with 19 points and Maddie Grimaldi chipped in with 10 points.

Abigail Luczynski paced the Cougars (2-7) with 10 points.

MOUNTAIN VALLEY 63, LISBON 7: Madison Blanchard dropped in 14 points in the Falcons’ (4-6) win over the Greyhounds (0-10) in Lisbon.

Layce Boucher had 12 points for Mountain Valley.

Deanna Adams had four points for Lisbon.

MT. ABRAM 34, KENTS HILL 12: Kharlie Turner paced the Roadrunners (5-5) with 12 points in the win over the Huskies (0-8) in Salem Township.

McKenzie Contreras chipped in with 10 points.

Mt. Abram broke the game open by scoring 18 points in the third quarter after holding a 10-7 lead at halftime.

Stefani Munoko had six of Kents Hill’s points.

HALL-DALE 88, OAK HILL 25: Hayden Madore scored 19 points as the Bulldogs (6-1) won handily in Farmingdale.

Jade Graham scored 16 points for Hall-Dale, while KJ Greenhalgh and Torie Tibbetts added 13 apiece.

Michaela Pontbriand had 12 points for Oak Hill (0-9).

MADISON 57, MONMOUTH ACADEMY 35: Reagan Cowan led the Bulldogs’ (10-0) balanced scoring attack with 15 points in a victory over the Mustangs (3-6) in Monmouth.

Jacey Moody had 14 points and Mackenzie Robbins had 13 in the win.

Kaitlyn Frost led Monmouth with 12 points.

GIRLS HOCKEY
BRUNSWICK 9, MT. ARARAT/LISBON/MORSE/MEDOMAK 1: Allie Tatham had a hat trick in the Dragons’ (7-4) rivalry win over the Eagles (0-9) at Sid Watson Arena in Brunswick.

Solveig Ledwick and Lauren Labbe each added two goals and an assist, and Quinn McCormack and Celeste Braillard contributed a goal apiece. Natalie Perham, Gillian Countway and Lily Calderwood all notched two assists for Brunswick.

Allie Hunter scored the Mt. Ararat co-op’s only goal.

Dragons goalie Sensia Ley stopped 12 shots, and Riley Walters made 19 saves for the Eagles.

FALMOUTH/SCARBOROUGH 5, GREELY/GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Eve Chace and Audrey Farnham each tallied a goal and an assist in Falmouth/Scarborough’s win over the Rangers at Family Ice Center in Falmouth.

Lauren Gallagher, Avery Larson and Hope Melevsky also scored. Elizabeth Brown recorded two assists.
