READFIELD — Haley DeHahn scored a game-high 16 points as Monmouth rolled to a 62-28 win over Kents Hill in girls basketball action Wednesday.

Kaitlyn Frost added 12 points for the Mustangs (5-8), followed by Tarynn Keleher’s 11 and Lillian Palleschi’s 10.

Stefani Munok scored 10 points for the Huskies (0-11).

MADISON 53, WINTHROP 25: After a close first quarter, the Bulldogs (12-0) pulled away the rest of the way to beat the host Ramblers (8-4) in an MVC tilt in Winthrop.

Raegan Cowan and Mackenzie Robbins scored 11 points apiece to pace Madison, which led 12-9 heading into the second quarter. Kylee Furbush pitched in with nine.

Madeline Wagner led all scorers with 12 points for Winthrop, including 10 from the free-throw line. Kylee Mansir added seven points.

DIRIGO 36, MT. ABRAM 30: The Cougars (4-8) took control in the second quarter, lost it in the third, then pulled enough away in the fourth to down the Roadrunners (5-7) in Dixfield.

Emily Woods scored nine of her team-high 10 points in the fourth quarter for Dirigo, which led 19-11 at halftime but took just a 21-20 advantage into the final frame. Woods also dished out five assists.

Sophia Nino-Aguirre scored eight points for the Cougars and Abby Luczynski recorded seven points and eight rebounds.

Abby McCarty dropped in a game-high 14 points for Mt. Abram, and McKenzie Contreras contributed six .

BOYS HOCKEY
MARSHWOOD/TRAIP/SANFORD/NOBLE 4, FRYEBURG/LAKE REGION/OXFORD HILLS 2: The Knighthawks (6-6) opened the contest with four goals in the first 6:35 of play and downed the visiting Ice Cats (4-6) at Dover Arena in Dover, New Hampshire.

Danny Fuller had a pair of goals, both assisted by Bradley Wentworth for Marshwood/Traip/Sanford/Noble, while Josh Sawyer and Ayden Lockard also scored, with Curtis Savage adding an assist.

Wille Svinhufvud had a goal and an assist for Lake Region/Fryeburg Academy/Oxford Hills, while Myles Wooster added a goal.
