CARRABASSETT VALLEY — JAR Cannabis Co., a recreational cannabis storefront, opened Dec. 28, 2023, at 1221 Carrabassett Drive, near Sugarloaf Mountain.

A grand opening party is set for 3-6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23. This is the business’s sixth retail location in Maine.

The business, which is owned by Joel Pepin, Adam Platz and Ryan Roy, sells premium flower, concentrates, solventless products, edibles, tinctures, paraphernalia, apparel and CBD.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
