RUMFORD — Brooke Brown tallied 12 points to lead Mountain Valley to a 55-31 girls basketball victory over Telstar on Wednesday.

Ella Young added 10 points for the Falcons (6-8).

Morgan Zetts was the game’s high scorer, tallying 21 of the Rebels’ (5-10) 31 points.

WINTHROP 56, OAK HILL 33: Madeline Wagner tallied a game-high 19 points for the Ramblers, leading them to victory over the Raiders in Winthrop.

Kylee Mansir added another 14 points for Winthrop (11-4), while Ella Rice scored 12.

Aubrey McElhaney scored 15 points to lead Oak Hill (1-13).

KENTS HILL 43, LISBON 18: Stefani Munoko led the Huskies with 12 points as they earned their first win of the season against the Greyhounds in Lisbon.

Lucy McDonald added another nine points for Kents Hill (1-13), and Sam Holsten tallied six.

Delaney McGrath led the scoring for Lisbon (0-14) with nine points.

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 80, MT. ABRAM 22: Jaydn Pingree poured in 37 points to pace the Phoenix (13-2) past the Roadrunners (5-9) in Jay.

Pingree made three 3-pointers and went 10 of 11 from the free-throw line. Her twin sister, Jazmine Pingree, made 10 of 14 at the foul line and finished with 15 points. Maddie Grimaldi added 12 points for Spruce Mountain.

Kharlie Turner’s eight points led Mt. Abram.

BOYS BASKETBALL
GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 75, GREELY 61: Balanced scoring paced the Patriots past the Rangers in Cumberland Center.

Nate Hebert and John Patenaude each hit a pair of 3-pointers and scored a team-high 16 points for Gray-New Gloucester (13-1), while Aidan Hebert put up 14 points, Noah Hebert had 12 and Carter Libby contributed eight.

Greely’s (7-8) Jackson Leding made five 3s and scored a game-high 24 points. Ethan Michaud added 12 for the Rangers.

TELSTAR/GOULD 61, LISBON 35: Wyatt Lilly led the Rebels with 16 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists in their win against the Greyhounds in Bethel.

Reiley Hedden added another 11 points and Brody Morgan contributed 14 rebounds for Telstar/Gould (5-10).

DeSean Trufant topped Lisbon (1-15) with 11 points.

BOYS HOCKEY
ST. DOMINIC 5, BANGOR/NARRAGUAGUS 1: The Saints (9-3-1) had a scoring outburst in the second period in the win over the Rams (9-3) at Sawyer Arena in Bangor.

Four of the five goals came in a five-minute stretch, and all five were scored in the middle frame.

Colton Dionne had two goals while Ridge Dionne, Ben Dumais and Rhys Levasseur had one goal apiece. Timothee Ouellette had two assists.

Miles Randall scored in the third period for Bangor.

Jayden Lynn made 24 saves for the Saints and Cole Fernald and Cody McCue combined to make 13 saves for the Rams.
