LEWISTON — A trio of double-digit scorers paced Lewiston to a 60-28 victory over Portland in a Class AA North girls basketball game Thursday night.

Koral Morin scored 17 points to lead the Blue Devils (9-7). Ellie Legare added 15 points and Natalie Beaudoin finished with 13.

Baleria Yuga paced the Bulldogs (2-14) with 16 points.

POLAND 34, OAK HILL 22: Thea Thornton led the Knights (10-6) with 11 points in a win over the Raiders (1-14) in Wales.

Aubrey McElhaney scored seven points for Oak Hill.

SACOPEE VALLEY 47, BUCKFIELD 30: Bridget Landry paced the Hawks with 14 points (10-5) in a win over the Bucks (7-8) at Buckfield.

Alexa Schroeder chipped in with 13 points.

Sarae Devoe led Buckfield with nine points.

BOYS BASKETBALL
SACOPEE VALLEY 67, BUCKFIELD 45: Bryce Stacey (7-8) led the Hawks’ balanced scoring attack with 16 points in the win over the Bucks (7-9) in Hiram.

Tyler Easterbrooks had 15 points, Dylan Capano finished with 11 and Silas Nielsen had 10.

Justin Lucas and Gaven Parsons each had 12 points for Buckfield.

LAKE REGION 70, POLAND 55: Jackson Libby’s team-high 15 points led four Lakers (7-9) in double figures as they downed the Knights (3-13) in Poland.

Aiden Roberts scored 13, Brock Gibbons 12 and Jacoby Bardsley 10 for Lake Region.

Damon Martin poured in a game-high 28 points for Poland, while Anthony Warren added 13.

CAMDEN HILLS 68, MT. BLUE 64, OT: Evans Sterling scored 29 points as the Cougars (13-2) fell to the Windjammers (8-8) in overtime in Farmington.

Carter Norton notched 13 points for Mt. Blue, with five coming in the extra session. Sterling scored the Cougars’ other three overtime points, all from the free-throw line.

PORTLAND 58, LEWISTON 47: Kevin Rugabirwa and Cordell Jones led a balanced offense with 13 points apiece and Jeissey Khamis added 12 as the Bulldogs (13-3) topped the Blue Devils (5-11) at the Portland Expo.

Caden Boone put in 13 points for Lewiston. Abdirahim Dakane tallied 12 and Lonnie Thomas scored 10.

MONMOUTH ACADEMY 56, VALLEY 55: Sammy Calder had a game-high 25 points in the Mustangs’ (13-3) win over the Cavaliers (12-4) in Monmouth.

Calder also assisted on Lucas Harmon’s go-ahead basket with 6.3 seconds left.

Kyle Palleschi chipped in with 10 points for Monmouth.

Fisher Tewksbury led Valley with 15 points, while Jared Ricker had 14 points and Harry Louis had 11 points.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 76, KENNEBUNK 63: Nate Hebert led the way for the Patriots (14-1) with 21 points as they pulled away from the Rams (10-6) in Gray.

Noah Hebert and Jonny Patenaude added 14 points apiece for Gray-New Gloucester.

Theo Pow put in a game-high 22 points and Sammy Murray swished in 12 for Kennebunk.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
CMCC 98, NHTI 28: Ella Lavigne led all scorers with 31 points for the Mustangs (20-1, 12-0 YSCC) in the win over the Lynx (2-10 overall, 1-8 YSCC) in Concord, New Hampshire.

Marney Rees had 16 points and Jolien Defoort had 11 for Central Maine Community College off the bench.

Jenessa Lofton led NHTI with 14 points.
