LEWISTON 7 — Aizyk Laliberte had a hat trick in Lewiston’s 7-0 win over Scarborough in a Class A boys hockey game Saturday morning at The Colisee.

Dylan Blue scored twice while Ethan Blue chipped in with a goal and an assist for the Blue Devils (12-4). Cody Dionne also scored.

Gabe Pomerleau made 14 saves for the shutout while Reed Marston made 47 saves for the Red Storm (2-12-1).

CONY/MONMOUTH/ERSKINE/MT. BLUE/RICHMOND 6, BREWER/LAWRENCE/SKOWHEGAN 3: Zack Waddell potted two tallies for the Rams (9-5) over the Witches (5-9-1) at Penobscot Ice Arena in Brewer.

Cooper Clark had a goal and three assists, while Ben Platt had a goal and an assist. Alex Leet and Oliver Rodrigue each had a goal.

Grady Vanidestine finished with a goal and two helpers for the Brewer co-op. Baylon Cramm and Dominic Stecher also found the back of the net. Hunter Merrithew had two assists.

Landon Foster made 48 saves for the Rams and Ethan Hanscom stopped 36 shots for the Witches.

LEAVITT/GRAY-NG/OAK HILL/POLAND 9, BRUNSWICK/FREEPORT 2: Brody Emond and Parker Pelletier each notched a hat trick in the Kings’ (12-3) victory over the Dragons (4-10-1) at Norway Savings Bank Arena in Auburn.

Will Keach potted two goals and added a helper, while Nick LeBrasseur also scored in the win.

James Bowey and Avery Tatham potted third-period goals for Brunswick/Freeport.

Ian Guerin stopped 18 shots for the win while Gabe and Michael Shoemaker combined to make 13 saves in the loss.

MARSHWOOD/TRAIP/SANFORD/NOBLE 10, FRYEBURG/LAKE REGION/OXFORD HILLS 2: Ayden Lockard scored four goals, and Marshwood/Traip/Sanford/Noble (8-7) got five goals in a span of 5:13 in the second period to pull away from Fryeburg/Lake Region/Oxford Hills (5-9) at Bridgton Academy.

Emmett Hammond added two goals, and Shane Cullity, Bradley Wentworth, Ben Thyng and Zac Camp also scored for the Knighthawks, who converted six of their eight shots in the second period as they opened an 8-2 lead.

Gunner Truman and Kadan Neureuther each had a goal for the Ice Cats.

EDWARD LITTLE 6, WINDHAM/WESTBROOK/BONNY EAGLE 3: Andrew Clements scored two goals and had two assists in the Red Eddies’ (7-8-1) win over the Trail Blazers (9-6) at Norway Savings Bank Arena in Auburn.

Brooks Hefty had a goal and four assists in the win. Camden Roy, Peyton Dyer and Kellen Labelle recorded goals.

Jack Caron had two assists.

Philip Traina scored twice and Sam Foley also found the back of the net for the Windham co-op.

Camren Dufour made 15 saves in the win and Sawyer Perkins made 20 stops in the loss.

GIRLS HOCKEY
YARMOUTH/FREEPORT 7, WINSLOW/GARDINER/CONY/LAWRENCE/MESSALONSKEE/MARANACOOK/ERSKINE/MT. BLUE 1: Celia Zinman recorded a hat trick as the top-seeded Clippers (16-4) rolled past fifth-seeded Winslow/Gardiner/Cony/Lawrence/Messalonskee/Maranacook/Erskine/Mt. Blue (10-10) in a North semifinal at the Colisee in Lewiston.

Isabelle Peters added a pair of goals, while Rosie Paneka and Ella Zur Mullen also scored for Yarmouth/Freeport.

The defending regional champions set up a rematch with No. 2 Penobscot in the regional final at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Norway Savings Bank Arena in Auburn.

BOYS BASKETBALL
MT. ABRAM 77, MARANCOOK 67: Payton Mitchell’s 26 points led the Roadrunners past the Black Bears in the Mountain Valley Conference championship game at Lewiston High School.

Mitchell made 8 of 10 free throws, including 5 of 6 in the fourth quarter.

Logan Dube hit two 3-pointers and contributed 17 points for Mt. Abram, while Cam Grey (three 3s) scored 16 points.

Maranacook was led by Brandon Chilton’s 16 points. Keagan McClure and Jack Fontane each added 14 points and Robbie Vivenzio finished with 10.

Mt. Abram (16-2) takes the No. 1 seed into the Class C South tournament and will face either No. 8 Dirigo (10-8) or No. 9 Madison (9-9) in the quarterfinals.

Maranacook (15-3) is the No. 2 seed in Class B North. The Black Bears play the winner between No.7 Bucksport (8-10) and No. 10 Mt. Desert Island (8-10) in the quarterfinals.
