EDWARD LITTLE 55, LEWISTON 53: Arianna Steinmentz scored a game-high 20 points as the Red Eddies edged the Blue Devils in Auburn.

Alex Duchette chipped in with 10 points for Edward Little.

Aden Mohamed led Lewiston with 12 points and Mark Gatwick added 10.

POLAND 46, OXFORD HILLS 30: The Knights turned it on offensively in the second half for their first win of the season with a victory over the Vikings in Paris.

Elijah Salley scored a game-high 14 points to lead Poland, which led 21-16 at halftime and then added 25 points in the second half. McKayla Fournier and Jacob Fogg scored 12 points apiece.

Brody Jenkins scored eight points and Griffin Hartnett had six for Oxford Hills.

BOYS HOCKEY
FRYEBURG/LAKE REGION/OXFORD HILLS 5, BIDDEFORD/MASSABESIC/OLD ORCHARD 3: Kadan Neureuther scored twice and added an assist in the Ice Cats’ (7-9) win over the Tigers (1-16) at Biddeford Ice Arena in Biddeford.

Myles Wooster and Cohen Carter each had a goal and a helper. Jacob Lemery also scored.

Miko Larnero scored twice for the Biddeford co-op and Wyatt McCoy notched a goal.

Charlie Herrick made 13 saves in the win and Connor Thibault stopped 42 shots in the loss.

LEAVITT/GRAY-NG/OAK HILL/POLAND 12, CAPE ELIZABETH 0: Brody Emond scored four goals and added an assist in the Kings’ (14-3) win over the Capers (1-14) at Troubh Arena in Portland.

Conner Boulay had a hat trick and added two assists. Breck Langevin scored twice and added two assists. Luke Gladu had a goal and two assists while Hunter Bussiere had a goal and an assist. Will Keach scored a goal.

Kade Knight made seven saves for the shutout. Nathan Hanisko made 20 saves for Cape Elizabeth.
