BANGOR — Chase Caron scored the game-winning goal in the third period to lift Bangor/Narraguagus past Edward Little 3-2 in a Class A boys hockey game Saturday at Sawyer Arena.

Marc-Andre Perron scored twice in the first period for the Rams (11-4-1). Miles Randall assisted on all three Bangor goals.

Brooks Hefty scored twice for the Red Eddies (7-9-1) — one each in the first and second periods — and Peyton Dyer assisted each time. Andrew Clements provided the primary assist on Hefty’s first goal.

Cody McCue made 24 saves in the win and Camren Dufour made 19 saves in the loss.

LEWISTON 4, FRYEBURG/LAKE REGION/OXFORD HILLS 3: Aizyk Laliberte scored twice for the Blue Devils (13-4) in the win over the Ice Cats (7-10) at Bridgton Ice Arena in Bridgton.

Hayden Brown and Aiden St. George each had a goal for Lewiston.

Gunner Truman potted two goals for the Fryeburg co-op and Kadan Neureuther also lit the lamp. Willie Svinhulfvud had two assists.

Will Routhier and Gabe Pomerleau combined to make 20 saves for Lewiston and Charlie Herrick made 38 saves in the loss.
