RUMFORD – Everett A. Mayberry, 80, died Saturday Feb. 24, 2024, at his residence on Wyman Hill Road in Rumford.

Everett was born in Westbrook on Feb. 13, 1944, and was a son of Arnold and Barbara (Plummer) Mayberry. He served in the US Navy and was a self-employed carpenter and was also a Maine Guide. He enjoyed hunting with his dogs and friends and spending time with his family up north.

Everett was married on Oct. 28, 1961, to Donna Irish who survives of Rumford. Other survivors include his daughters Tammy Arthur and companion Dan of Tennnessee, Pamela Morgan and husband Martin of Rumford, Lynn Mayberry and companion John Larsen of Andover, Samantha Lynn of Peru, Sarah Thibeault and husband Chris of Peru; grandchildren Whitney McPherson and husband Wade, Aiden, Austin, Lexi, Wyman, Wilder, Westin and Trevin; and his best friend, his dog Rose. He was predeceased by a grandson Daniel Batty.
