WELD — Voters on Tuesday, March 5, elected incumbent Dina Walker to another three-year term on the Select Board.

Town Clerk Carol Cochran announced the results by email Tuesday after the votes had been tallied.

Walker received 119 votes while write-in candidate B. David Rackliffe Jr. had 48.

Rackliffe posted on his Facebook page a little over a week ago that he had decided to run.

The Select Board seat was the only contested position this year, with those already on boards or committees seeking reelection.

Carol Conant will serve another five-year term on the Planning Board. She received 156 votes.

Laureen Pratt received 157 votes and Rebecca Scott 149 to serve three more years on the Budget Committee.

The annual town meeting will be held Saturday, March 9, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Weld Town Hall, 7 School Street.
