Cindy Louise (Gustus) Stevens

GREENE – Cindy Louise (Gustus) Stevens, 67, a resident of Greene, passed away at her home on Friday, March 8, 2024, with her loving family by her side. She was born Nov. 28, 1956, in Lewiston, the daughter of Leonard Gustus and Dorothy (Smith) Gustus. She attended schools in Greene and Turner and graduated from Leavitt Area High School, class of 1975. On May 26, 1979, in Leeds, she married the love of her life, Howard B. Stevens. Cindy was a proud mother of two children: Heather and Heath. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Cindy enjoyed taking care of children, and she taught each and every one of them to swim in her pool. She loved going for long car rides with no particular place to go, going to the Monmouth and Fryeburg Fairs and trips to Baily Island and Land’s End Gift Shop.

She is survived by her loving husband, Howard Stevens, her daughter, Heather Stevens and companion Todd Macomber and her son, Heath Stevens all of Greene, two granddaughters, Gabrielle Roy and her companion Alan Morissette and Olivia Edmunds, a sister, Regina Dagneau, a brother, Rory Gustus, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, two sisters, Donna Pratt, Judy Scott, her twin brother, Rick Gustus and a sister-in-law, Theresa Gustus.

Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the BRAGDON-FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 707 Main Street, Monmouth, Maine. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m., prior to the service.
