MINOT – It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Mark A. Belisle, 63 years old, on Feb. 20, 2024 in Lewiston.

He was born on April 8, 1960 to Paul H. Belisle and Delecia Marie Clements Belisle Veayo in Lewiston. Mark attended Lewiston schools and graduated from Job Corps at Husson College majoring in culinary arts. He was a chef at the Hilton Hotel in Bangor until moving to Florida. While at Lewiston High School, he played hockey as a goalie. He may have been small, but he was fast.

He also enjoyed skiing fast and was FEARLESS. But, riding his Harley was his true passion. He often said it was his therapy. He actually raced his Harley for a speed-time on Sabattus Lake one winter. He claimed he hit 104 MPH before the rear tire exploded. And, it’s on tape!

Mark was predeceased by his father, Paul; grandparents Antonio and Rita Belisle, grandparents Robert and Lillian Clements; uncles George and Hubert Clements (Wini), Armand Belisle and aunt, Jeannine Michaud (Bert).

Mark is survived by his two sons, Kevin Scott Allen (Amelia) and his grandson Liam of Alabama; and Seth Trusty-Belisle (companion) Elisabeth Johnson of Utah. Mark also leaves his mother, Delecia; brothers Stephen of Lewiston and Gregory (Kathy); nephew, Joseph (companion) Sarah Nichols and niece, Sara, all of Bangor; sisters Debra Brown (Leonard), niece Rebecca Lewis (Daniel), great-nephew Ethan and great-niece Addison, niece Jennifer Hosner, nephew Danny (companion) Alyson Lomas all of Washington, State; nephew, Benjamin C. Brown of Michigan and Teresa Belisle, niece Kelcey, great-nephews Jack Belisle and Elliott Thoma of Minot. Mark is also survived by his godmother, Dolores Cormier (Ele) of Minot; cousins Paul Albison of Mechanic Falls, Chris Albison (Irene) of Las Vegas, Bonnie Downs (deceased), Mike Clements; second-cousins Wesley and Andrew of Auburn; aunts Marie Clements and family of California, aunt Monique Belisle and Pat Salters of Sabattus, aunt Claire Baker (Jim), uncle Bert Belisle of Lewiston, uncle John Belisle (Helen) of Greene; his Dad’s wife, Sally of Topsham. He leaves many aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves Kevin’s mother, Holly Scott of Augusta, Seth’s mother Yvonne Trusty and his brother, Jonas Edwards, both of Naples. Mark leaves a very special friend, Sheri Webster of Greene. Friends he grew up with and rode motorcycles with are Bill Melanson, Todd Simond, John Tiner, Scott Kivus, Bill Girard and Andy Bussiere (deceased). Also, his very close friend, Terry of Litchfield.

In honor of Mark’s request there will be no services. We will celebrate Mark’s life with family and friends at a later date. We will miss you Mark…..I love you, MOM!!
