AUGUSTA — In recognition of being named ‘one of the strongest banks in the Nation’ by BauerFinancial, Norway Savings Bank was presented with a Legislative Sentiment on Wednesday, March 13, at 11 a.m. at the State House in Augusta.
The Legislative Sentiment is sponsored by Representative Sawin Millett of Waterford and co-sponsored by Senator Rick Bennett of Oxford.
‘Norway Savings Bank has held a five-star rating from BauerFinancial, a prominent national bank rating firm, for 34 years, and was recently designated as ‘one of the strongest banks in the nation’ by the firm,’ said Rep. Millett. ‘The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation has also awarded NSB with an ‘Outstanding’ rating on its last three Community Reinvestment Act examination cycles, an almost unprecedented achievement.’
Norway Savings Bank representatives, including Dan Walsh, NSB’s President and CEO, will be in attendance to receive the honor on Wednesday.
All are welcome to attend. For more information, contact Dave Guthro at [email protected].
