AUBURN – Jeane Nickerson, 77, of Auburn, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024.
Jean adored the holidays and cherished her photo albums. She possessed a talent for cooking and baking, enjoyed attending church services with her beloved sister. She found joy watching WWE wrestling and spending her Tuesdays and Thursdays at Roadblock apartment.
She is survived by her sister, Viola Hurd; and her daughter, Julie Nickerson Benedix and her husband Glen. She has many grandchildren, John Kullson, Kayla Kouts, Hillary and Holly Conlon, Christina and Justin Nickerson, Ryan Nickerson, Zachary, Nicolas and Courtney Gibbens, Matthew Greggor; and great-grandchildren, Izaiah Cameron, Bailey Wall and Chase Kullson. Also her stepchildren Robert Nickerson and his partner Diane, Vince Nickerson and his wife Bonnie, Dianna Oulette and her husband Andy and Lisa Greggory.
She was predeceased by her mother, Hatty Whary; sister, Shirley Mouncy; and her sons Rick Ralph, Les Jr. and Gene Nickerson, Eugene Nickerson; and her husband, Leslie Nickerson Sr.; and her granddaughter, Michelle Nickerson; and her brother-in-law, Ralph Hurd.
Friends and family are invited to attend visiting hours for Jeane which will be held Saturday, March 23, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Church of the Nazarene, 38 Summer St., Auburn. Following the visiting hours will be a funeral service from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., followed by a committal service at Gracelawn Memorial Park.
