
David S. Silver and Kate E. McDade were married in a sunrise ceremony on Monday, April 8, in Rangeley.
David is the son of the late Victor Silver of The Bronx, New York, and the late Rachel Silver of Pembroke Pines, Florida. He attended New York University, where he earned a bachelor of fine arts degree in film and television, and a master of science degree in computer science. He is executive director of the Wilhelm Reich Museum in Rangeley. He has two sons, Eli and Raoul Silver.
Kate is the daughter of Michael McDade of Bangor and Sherry Watson of West Bath, and stepdaughter of Barbara McDade of Bangor. Kate earned a bachelor of science degree in political science at the University of Southern Maine and a master’s degree in English at Southern New Hampshire University. She works as office and communications manager at Williston-Immanuel United Church in Portland. She has a daughter, Nora An, a son, William Ginn, and two stepchildren, Jules and Dylan Ginn.
The couple reside in South Portland and Rangeley.
