To the Editor:

I was looking up how many homeless people there are in the U.S and it upset me to learn that there are more than 650,000. I also learned that of those 650,000, some 35,000 of them are veterans.

Citizens should write to their Representatives and Senators to see what Congress is doing about it. Homelessness is a terrible thing but I especially feel that our veterans should not be experiencing homelessness in the country they fought for.
