MARANACOOK/WINTHROP 21, LINCOLN 5: Ethan Chilton’s six goals paced the Hawks (3-0) in their road win over the Eagles (2-2) in Newcastle.
Chilton also assisted on a pair of goals. Owen Lyons added four goals and four assists, Jacob Lyons had three goals and two assists, and Caleb Morgan and Bennett Ross each scored four goals.
Three Maranacook/Winthrop players tallied their first varsity points: one goal by Dana Poulin, and one assist each by Sam Hayes and Abe Vachon.
Hawks goalies Lucas Woodruff and Easton Howard combined to make eight saves.
GIRLS LACROSSE
PORTLAND 13, EDWARD LITTLE 1: Phoebe Knoll had five goals for the Bulldogs (1-3) as they beat the Red Eddies (1-2) at Portland.
Leah Sigfridson had three goals for Portland, Gabby Harrigan and Ava Christensen each added two and Ella Worcester had one.
Izzy Hayes scored for Edward Little.
MT. BLUE 7, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 1: Maya Kellett led the Cougars with a game-high three goals as they won their third straight game with a victory against the Raiders in Farmington.
Alissa Butterfield and Lily Huntly each added two goals for Mt. Blue (3-0). Huntly finished with three assists, and Nina Bogar and Alaya Smith tallied one each.
Evie Hutchins made 12 saves on 13 shots, finishing with a 92% save rate.
Fryeburg’s (0-1) lone goal was scored by Eden True in the second quarter. Kylee Prouty-Allen made six saves.
