I’m writing to express my support for state Rep. Austin Theriault, who is running for U.S. Congress in Maine’s 2nd Congressional District.
Austin is a former NASCAR driver who has already represented Maine well on the national stage.
He comes from a Franco-American Aroostook County logging and trucking family, and he has his own racing business. He also has deep ties to our area, after many years spent working and racing at Oxford Plains.
I feel strongly that Austin has the background and values Maine needs in office.
He’s a fiscal conservative and the only person in the race who hasn’t supported raising taxes, which is very important during this time of high costs and inflation.
I hope voters join me in supporting Austin Theriault.
