Bruce Wayne Clark

DIXFIELD – Bruce Wayne Clark, 79, of Dixfield passed away at the Rumford Hospital on Tuesday May 1, 2024, with his loving wife, Alice, by his side. Bruce was born in Portland, April 18, 1945, to Gregory and Phyllis (Fletcher) Clark.

Bruce attended schools in Dixfield, graduating in 1965. After graduation, he enlisted in the Air Force and proudly served from 1965 to 1969. After returning to Dixfield, he worked at the Rumford paper mill until his retirement in 2008.

In his younger years, Bruce enjoyed the Maine woods hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and most importantly, spending time with family and friends.

Bruce is survived by Alice, his beloved wife of 40 years, brother David Clark (Florida), and a loving extended family that includes grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Doug Clark and his sister Natalie Bankson.

Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 13, 2024 at Greenwood Cemetery in Dixfield.

The family extends a special thank you to Rumford Community Hospital and Androscoggin Home Healthcare and Hospice for compassionate care that was given during Bruce’s illness.
