After a cloudy and rainy start on Monday, sunny skies and warm temperatures take over for the afternoon, and Tuesday looks even nicer in Maine.
Monday will end up very nice across the state. Clouds will clear out through the day, and we should be nice and sunny by the afternoon. Temps will range from the mid 60s at the coast to low 70s inland.
Tuesday we turn the niceness factor up another notch. We’ll see sunny skies all day and highs in the low 70s.
The nice weather comes to an end Wednesday. We’ll start out cloudy, and then rain showers will move in for the afternoon. Highs will drop into the low to mid 50s.
Rain wraps up Wednesday night, and most of Thursday looks ok with some morning sun and increasing clouds for the afternoon. Temps will be in the upper 50s and low 60s.
Our next more widespread chance of rain arrives Thursday evening. A developing coastal storm will bring steady rain through Friday.
Friday is the anti-pick of the week. It will only be in the 40s all day and it looks very wet with steady rain for much of the day. With the cool temps, some wet snow is not out of the question in the highest elevations of the mountains.
The weekend brings gradually improving conditions. Other than a stray shower, expect gradually clearing skies and highs in the 50s or low 60s.
