Patricia A. Hutchinson

LEWISTON – Patricia A. Hutchinson, 71, of Lewiston peacefully passed away on Tuesday March 26, 2024, at CMMC in Lewiston with her family at her side. She was born in Brockton, Mass., on July 26, 1952, and grew up as a daughter of William J. and Annabelle Broderick. She grew up in the areas of Brockton, Bridgewater, and Leominster, Massachusetts. Pat dedicated almost 40 years of her life to helping others as an LPN, spending the majority of her career at Maine Medical Center in a variety of roles. As her life progressed, she continued to find other ways to support her community by assisting with Windham High School’s annual fall musical costumes among many other community outreach projects.

Pat will always be remembered for her love of the performing arts and her gift of giving back to her community. She will be deeply missed by many.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Casey Michaud and her husband Josh along with their soon to be born daughter, Maeve, of Lewiston. She also leaves behind numerous brothers and sisters: Judy Hytinen, Jack Broderick and his wife Dawn, Kathy Schwarzer, Jeffery Peterson and his wife Kathy, Susie Bates, Nancy Travers and her husband Larry, Ellen Palys, and William Broderick and his significant other Laura Boyd. Additionally, Pat leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Annabelle Broderick; her aunts, Eileen Broderick and Alice Battista.

A Celebration of her life will take place at Albert & Burpee on Saturday May 11, 2024 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., with Words of Remembrance being shared at 1 p.m. The family asks that in honor of Pat, guests come wearing something that reminds them of her.
