LEWISTON — Isabella Enos and Ava Dionne each had an inside-the-park home run in Lewiston’s 4-2 softball win over Camden Hills on Friday.
Enos had one RBI while Dionne drove in two for the Blue Devils (5-4).
Dionne picked up the win in the circle, allowing two runs and seven hits while striking out eight. She also waked two.
Sierra Lauka had an inside-the-park homer for the Windjammers (5-4). She took the loss, allowing four runs on five hits while striking out two and walking one.
MONMOUTH ACADEMY 13, MADISON 8: Shannah Parsons had four hits at the plate and struck out 13 batters in the circle as the Mustangs (6-1) prevailed in Madison.
Riley Smith, Hayli Paradis and Lily Palleschi had three hits apiece for Monmouth, while June Foyt added two hits and Bella Lyons homered.
Mackenzie Robbins had four hits for Madison (4-4), while teammates Kylie Furbush, Emma Anton and Kenadi Berry added two apiece.
OXFORD HILLS 5, HAMPDEN ACADEMY 2: Kyeria Morse struck out 10 in a complete-game effort in the Vikings’ (9-1) win over the Broncos (6-3) in Paris.
She allowed four hits and walked one.
Gigi Devivo hit a two-run homer in the fourth inning and Maddy Miller had three hits while driving in two runs.
Cat Facchini had two hits and drove in a run for Hampden.
LAKE REGION 12, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: The Lakers (4-4) scored nine runs in the first inning, aided by three errors and four wild pitches, in a five-inning win over the Patriots (0-9) at Naples.
Mallory Smith and Ava Cole each had a single and a double for Lake Region. Cole scored three runs.
Maisie Lerette hit a double for Gray-New Gloucester.
YORK 6, POLAND 3: Nya Avery’s two-out two-run single in the bottom of the fifth gave the Wildcats (8-0) the lead for good as they downed the Knights (4-5) at York.
Ella Hickey, Sarah Orso and Lindsay Rivers each had two hits and an RBI for York. Winning pitcher McKayla Kortes struck out 10.
BASEBALL
YORK 3, POLAND 0: Brody Gullison hit a two-run homer in the fifth inning to help the Wildcats (7-2) secure a win over the Knights (6-4) in York.
Leo Sullivan went the distance on the mound for York, striking out seven, while allowing only two hits, to Alex Mains and Travis West.
HAMPDEN ACADEMY 6, OXFORD HILLS 2: Aiden Hullsey doubled and singled while driving in two in the Broncos’ (9-0) KVAC win over the Vikings (7-3) in Paris.
Rogan Lord and Zach McLaughlin collected two hits in the win while Kaysen Wildman chipped in with an RBI.
Gunner Truman had two base knocks for Oxford Hills while Hunter Tardiff and Carter Holbrook tripled and Nick Binette reached second with a double.
Bodie Bishop allowed six hits and two runs in six innings of work for Hampden. He struck out four and walked three.
Colton Jendrick went five innings for Oxford Hills, allowing three runs (only one earned) and striking out one.
LAKE REGION 8, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 7: The Lakers (2-7) erased a 5-2 deficit with five runs in the fifth inning, then held off the Patriots (2-8) in Naples.
Jake Maschino had two hits and four RBI for Gray-New Gloucester.
BOYS LACROSSE
DEERING 21, MARANACOOK/WINTHROP 10: Andrew Burke had seven goals and three assists, and Corbin Burke added seven goals and two assists as the Rams (5-3) handled Maranacook/Winthrop (7-1) in Portland.
Joey Foley finished with four goals and three assists, Caleb Arris had two goals and two assists, and Vinny Cavallaro made 10 saves for Deering.
Maranacook/Winthrop was led by Ethan Chilton with four goals, and Owen Lyons with three goals and three assists.
