Why are many people, including the media, blaming the Biden administration for the uptick in prices — of groceries, gas, oil, and anything else we consumers need.

My take on what is going on is simply that large corporations, who are in control of what we pay for what we buy, have simply decided to raise the costs of whatever they provide, period. From the manufacturer to the wholesaler to the retailer, to the consumer who ends up taking on all the hits on products as they make their way through the system.

Also, ongoing statements blaming the war in Ukraine, and now Israel, seems reasonable. However, there is no real proof of any of that, but it certainly makes for good excuses. We seem to be in a mode of raising prices simply because big business can, with no viable reason for it. My conclusion is greed, plain and simple.
