WATERVILLE — Izzy Hayes scored four goals to pace Edward Little to a narrow 8-7 victory over Winslow/Lawrence in a girls lacrosse game Tuesday at Thomas College.

Madison MacFawn had two goals and Maddie Ranger also scored a goal for the Red Eddies (3-9). Aurora Martel made 12 saves for the Red Eddies.

Winslow/Lawrence falls to 3-9 with the loss.

BOYS LACROSSE
GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER/POLAND 22, LAKE REGION 0: Noah Schaeffer broke the 26ers (5-6) program for goals in a game with his eight-goal output against the Lakers (0-12) in Naples.

Conner Boulay compiled five goals and an assist, Ashten Golebiewski recorded a hat trick, and Breck Langevin and Charlie Gilbert each tallied two goals. Aries Plourde and Quinn Smolin both added a goal, Plourde provided two assists, and Talen Langevin and Tucker Nelson also notched assists.

Kyle Plummer made three saves and Jameson Hart added one of his own.
