Around 12:45 p.m. June 4, a vehicle swerved across Route 118 and into a house at 144 Waterford Road. No one was home at the time, according to witnesses. Assisting those inside the vehicle is Marc Richard of Norway, a retired Air Force survival instructor. His wife, Paulle Richard, left, rendered CPR to one patient, a 69-year-old male, until PACE ambulance arrived at the scene. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and a passenger was transported with serious but not life threatening injuries. The Medical Examiner’s office will investigate the cause of death, according to officials. No other information was available pending notification of next of kin.
