POLAND — Over 70 voters from Mechanic Falls, Minot and Poland passed a $28.8 million budget for Regional School Unit 16 at Tuesday night’s district budget meeting.
The next step is a validation vote Tuesday, July 30, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at polling stations in the three towns.
RSU 16 directors approved the amended budget July 8 after $566,000 was cut from the initial $29.3 million proposal that failed in the June 11 referendum vote.
