Eric Thomas Polley

HEBRON – Eric Thomas Polley, 65, of Hebron peacefully passed away on Thursday July 18, 2024, at Market Square Health Care Center in South Paris with his family by his side. He was born in Lewiston, on Feb. 23, 1959. Eric was a graduate of Edward Little High School in Auburn and Central Maine Technical College.

He was employed with Ripley and Fletcher of South Paris for 20 years followed by eight fantastic years with Bates College, both becoming like family.

Eric will always be remembered for his love of the outdoors, oftentimes just getting in his jeep and seeking out an adventure. He loved geology, astronomy, and was an antique auto enthusiast. Eric greatly valued his family and loved ones and will be deeply missed.

Eric is survived by his son, Derrick V Jones and his spouse Jaimelyn Brown of Hebron, his siblings Kim Pelkey of Poland, Jeffrey Polley and wife Tami Polley of Oxford, Grandsons Cotton Ryan Jones of Norway and Dillonuriah Jones of New Hampshire, niece Jamie Levesque, Nephews Justin Pelkey, Jeffrey Polley and Travis Pelkey, Great Nephews Ryan Abbott and Riley Abbott, his lifelong best friend, Mike Adams, and Godmother Linette “Lenny” Polley. As well as many cousins who held a very special place in Eric’s heart.

Eric was predeceased by his mother, Beverly Polley, his beloved niece Michelle Lynn Polley-Abbott, and Craig Larlee.

Visitation will be held at the Albert & Burpee Funeral Home, on Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 4-7 p.m.

Formal funeral services are being held Friday, July 26, 2024, at 11 a.m., also at the funeral home.
