Some great economic news that seems to be getting a bit lost in the shuffle is the drop last month in consumer prices. This highlights the impressive progress that has been made in bringing inflation down from its 9% high two years ago to its current 3% low.
And it’s just one metric of a booming economy that is making the United States the envy of the world. We’ve got the highest GDP among the G7, unemployment at a historic low, wages outpacing costs (for the working class especially), household wealth growing, and the stock indexes hitting record highs.
The Biden-Harris administration deserves credit. I’ll be voting for another four years of this kind of economic good news.
