Reginald C. Morin

LEWISTON – Reginald C. Morin, “Reggie”, 79, passed away on Friday July 26, 2024, at Russell Park with his family by his side.

Reggie was born in Saint-Prosper, Quebec, Canada on Aug. 16, 1944, the son of Emilien and Simone Morin. He was raised in Quebec and then moved to the United States in 1967, settling in Maine.

He spent many years working in the woods and eventually started his own logging business, Morin & Son Trucking. In his later years, he spent time helping his son at The Dirt Store and always enjoyed his daily breakfast at Roy’s.

Reggie had three children with his former wife, Doris Gagnon of Greene. He is survived by his children Doreen (Keith) Seeley, Diane (Mark) Bowie, and Jeffrey (Aimee) Morin; his grandchildren Katrina, Jessica, Brian and Dagny; and great-grandchildren Camden and Sawyer.

He was predeceased by his parents; his sisters Ginette Morin and Venise Poulin.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to his housekeeper, Melissa, Mary and Amy from Andwell Hospice Care, all the ladies at Roy’s and all the staff at Russell Park; they all took such great care of our dad.

Please join us in a celebration of his life on Sunday, Aug. 11 at the Chandler Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 26 W. Dwinal St. Mechanic Falls, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by a service, 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Directly after, we will be gathering at the American Legion at 41 Elm St., Mechanic Falls, and invite all to join us.
