Program at The Rangeley Public Library
OWL Club- Our Weekly Library Club
2:45- 4pm Thursdays, starting September 12, 2024
Presenter: Children’s Librarian Brittany Wetherill
Calling all Kindergarteners, 1st and 2nd graders! Are you ready to have an adventure? Come join us at the Rangeley Public Library for O.W.L. Club. We will comb the shelves for some of the most exciting tales ever told- and figure out how to survive them! The world is full of amazing, wonderful adventures, and books teach us the skills we need to conquer every one that comes our way. Together we will learn things like: How do all those heroes find their way around without a cell phone? Where do all those fairy tale creatures find food out in the forest? Why are robots so smart in books and so stupid in real life? What is the best way to find something that is lost? When is it time for snack? All these questions and more to be answered at Our Weekly Library Club!
The O.W. L. Club meets at The Rangeley Public Library every Thursday 2:45- 4 pm, following the school schedule. Children can take the bus from school to the Rangeley Public Library. We begin on September 12th. Owl club each week includes Snack, an energetic activity, a new skill to learn, and a new book to explore.
Please see the circulation desk at Rangeley Public Library to fill out a permission slip by Tuesday, September 10th.

Comments are not available on this story. Read more about why we allow commenting on some stories and not on others.
We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
You can read more here about our commenting policy and terms of use. More information is also found on our FAQs.
