The arrival of campaign signs has me thinking about the upcoming election. In particular, I’m thinking about who I want to represent the people in Auburn and Minot.
In my opinion, the best choice is Rep. Laurel Libby.
In the four years that Rep. Libby has served in Augusta, she has proved to be a courageous leader. She advocates for the people of Maine by continuously fighting for the freedoms due to them. She votes against policies and bills that are hurtful to our state.
But her biggest accomplishment is how she motivates voters in Maine to get involved in the political process. She goes beyond just listening to her constituents (which is commendable), by encouraging them to speak up as well.
So if people want a House representative who works hard to make our beautiful state strong, free and safe, I hope they vote for Laurel Libby.

We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
For those stories that we do enable discussion, our system may hold up comments pending the approval of a moderator for several reasons, including possible violation of our guidelines. As the Maine Trust’s digital team reviews these comments, we ask for patience.
