Julie McCabe is the right person to represent Lewiston in the State House.

I had the privilege to work with Julie as a teacher at Next Step — an innovative school program for a new generation of learners. As an educator, Julie brings classes out into the real world and the real world into the classroom to give her students a clear sense of themselves and their responsibilities to the community. She is a dedicated team member who cares deeply about individual needs of her students and the larger systems that impact youth, educators, families, and the city and state as a whole.

Julie is a listen-first leader. Instead of acting on assumptions, she learns from those most affected and acts from a place of empathy and understanding.

Julie would bring perspective and passion to the State House to ensure that Maine is a thriving home for all.
