I am writing to support Laurel Libby’s candidacy for state representative. I am a senior citizen, with concerns about the direction that our state is headed with regard to spending.

Laurel has excelled as our current representative, to listen to concerns and to inform us of the issues and decisions that are being made in Augusta. She values fiscal responsibility and constitutional rights.

She endeavored to lower the cost of health care as well as to increase the availability of mental health services. She will strive to lower taxes through legislation.

Laurel has Mainers in her heart. She truly listens and responds with thoughtful questions and discussion. In Augusta, Laurel encourages solutions and she works for us.

I hope that people join me on Nov. 5 in voting for Laurel Libby as our state representative.
