To the Editor:
The way Otisfield collects real estate taxes is unfair. Taxes should be levied on all owners evenly.
Applying taxes by percentage is unfair to older owners who may have a greater home value, but have paid taxes for decades, are on a fixed income, and have no children in the schools.
