STONY POINT, N.C. – Allen Joseph Bouchard, 73, of Stony Point, passed away Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024, at Gordon Hospice House following an extended illness. Allen was born in Lewiston, July 16, 1951, to the late Alphonse Joseph Bouchard and Theresa Marie Labbe Bouchard. He’s of the Catholic Faith and enjoyed camping. He retired from Cardinal Logistics as a truck driver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Jackie B. Dostie and Yvonne B. Martin.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Carolyn Beckham Bouchard, of the home; one son, Thomas “Tommy” D. Bouchard, and wife Rebecca of Hiddenite, two daughters, Cassandra B. Millsaps and husband Michael of Stony Point, N.C. and Theresa D. Bouchard of Chesapeake, Va.; two sisters, Helen Cullins of Readfield, and Claudette Dionne of Crestview, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Chelsea McCroy (Anthony), Micah Millsaps (Kevin), Dustin Millsaps (Brianda), Matthew Bouchard (Brittney), Jacob Bouchard (Maribel), Kylah and Kysley Munet; five great-grandchildren, Bella and Iden Millsaps, Piper Bouchard and William Bouchard and Lincoln McCroy; and many special nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday Nov. 27, 2 p.m., at Stony Point Methodist Church Cemetery, Rev. Mickey Moree will officiate. There will be no formal visitation.
