Over 300 skiers and riders dressed as Santa filled the slopes on South Ridge raising $10,000 for the Boyne Forever Foundation and The River Fund for the 25th annual Santa Sunday.

A reminder about weathermen and economists | Letter
I greatly enjoyed Leslie Bridgers’ column regarding Maine’s affection for weather forecasters. I get weather updates at least twice a day. I was reminded of an observation by Alan Ableson, a columnist for Barron’s. He observed that weathermen and economists are the only two people who are paid to be wrong.
