I greatly enjoyed Leslie Bridgers’ column regarding Maine’s affection for weather forecasters. I get weather updates at least twice a day. I was reminded of an observation by Alan Ableson, a columnist for Barron’s. He observed that weathermen and economists are the only two people who are paid to be wrong.
