AUBURN — Two men from Georgia and a woman from Westbrook were arrested Friday during a traffic stop prompted by an ongoing drug trafficking investigation, according to an Auburn Police Department post on social media.

The Auburn Police Department’s Proactive Community Enforcement unit conducted a traffic stop Friday leading to the arrests of Aliyah Jeanpaul, 19, of Westbrook; Wakarii Weeks, 22, of Georgia; and Michael Cressey, 22, of Georgia, according to a Facebook post.

A 17-year-old Westbrook female who was in the car at the time of the stop was released into the care of her parents, according to the post.

Weeks and Cressey were arrested and charged with being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm, according to the post. Both have felony convictions in Georgia for firearm possession. Weeks also has a prior felony drug conviction there according to the Auburn Police Department Facebook post. Auburn police also charged Cressey with two misdemeanor counts of possession of scheduled drugs.

After the search of a Dunn Street home, the two men were each charged with aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs and two counts of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs.

Jeanpaul, who is out on bail on separate charges, was arrested and charged with violating conditions of release for possession of a firearm, according to police.

All three were taken to the Androscoggin County Jail in Auburn. Jeanpaul’s bail was set initially at $250. Weeks’ and Cressey’s bail was set at $25,000 each.

During the traffic stop, police seized two firearms, about $3,400 in suspected drug proceeds and an undisclosed amount of oxycodone pills, according to the social media post.

Police seized around 112 grams of crystal methamphetamine, four grams of crack cocaine, digital scales, 75 grams of an unknown substance and a gun during the search of the Dunn Street home.
