AUBURN — Auburn Adult and Community Education, 77 Harris St., has announced courses beginning in February as part of its winter/spring semester.
• In Medicare Education 101, beginning Wednesday, Feb. 26, participants will learn what Medicare Parts A and B cover and how Medicare Advantage Plan C (or a Medicare supplement and prescription plan) can add more comprehensive coverage. Participants will learn when and how to enroll in Medicare to avoid penalties.
• Joyful, Well-being Laughter, beginning Feb. 26, will feature a certified laughter yoga teacher.
• Serving Food Safe At Home will begin Feb. 26. Participants can learn the conditions that allow bacteria and viruses to thrive. Effective food storage practices to prevent cross-contamination and proper sanitation and cooking temperatures to eliminate pathogens will be taught.
• Wreath Crafting Workshop, beginning Thursday, Feb. 27, will teach the art of wreath making with hands-on guidance for beginners and hobbyists.
