01/04/2025 0357hrs, Deputy Morgan received a complaint of someone doing “donuts” in a pickup truck on Patten Road in Eustis.
0746hrs, Deputy Morgan responded to a report of a suicidal person at a residence on Baker Hill Road in Salem Twp. Morgan was able to locate the person and determined that he was not suicidal.
0941hrs, Sgt. Sholan received a 911 call from the Saddleback Base Lodge in Sandy River Plt. This was an accidental dial.
0957hrs, Deputy Wacome received a complaint of possible child abuse at a residence on Mt. Blue Pond Road in Avon.
1305hrs, Deputy Wacome responded to the Dollar Store in New Sharon where it was reported that a man and woman were there intoxicated and with a child. Deputy Wacome conducted a traffic stop with he suspects vehicle. As a result of the stop and investigation Dakota Boyd (32) of New Sharon was charged with Operating Without a License.
1347hrs, Deputy Morgan responded to a car vs. deer accident on route 27 in Wyman Twp. Richard Abbondanza (72) of Cumberland Foreside was driving a 2022 Chevy Tahoe southbound when the collision occurred.
1421hrs, Deputy Morgan received a request for a welfare check on Peabody Road in Eustis. The person to be checked on was located and found to be okay.
1522hrs, Deputy Wacome received a complaint of a of a man who honks his horn near the callers’ horses to intentionally scare them.
1604hrs, Deputy Elmes investigated a report of suspicious activity on Margaret’s way in Dallas Plt.
01/05/2025 0631hrs, Sgt. Close assisted Farmington Police with a domestic disturbance at a residence on Tolman Lane in Farmington.
0712hrs, Deputy Wacome received a 911 call at a residence on Maple Street in Kingfield. This was an accidental dial.
1340hrs, Deputy Frost responded to a residence on West Side Road in Carthage and arrested Zachary Demars (28) of Carthage on a Warrant. He was transported to jail without incident.
1448hrs, Deputy Maccione responded to a report of a pickup truck being driven in an erratic manner on Route 2 in Wilton near Munson Road.
1751hrs, Deputy Brann responded to a report of suspicious activity at a residence on Cooper Road in Chesterville where it was reported that unknown people were near the complainant’s house wearing headlights and were trespassing.
1806hrs, Deputy Morgan received a complaint of dogs being left unattended on Park Street in Phillips. The local ACO was called to the residence.
1911hrs, Deputy Brann responded to a car vs. animal complaint on Route 2 in Wilton. Lauren Tubbs (19) of Dixfield was driving a 2016 Ford Fusion when an unknown animal struck her vehicle and ran off causing reportable damage.
2046hrs, Deputy Brann investigated a hit and run accident which was reported to have occurred at Tuttle’s Garage in New Sharon. As a result of the investigation William Ames (53) of Wilton was summoned for Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident.
01/06/2025 0657hrs, Deputy Morgan responded to a car vs. deer accident on the Rangeley Road in Phillips. Thomas Dickey (64) of Rangeley was driving a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee when the collision occurred.
0850hrs, Deputy Wacome received a 911 call at a residence on Brookside Lane in Freeman twp. This was an accidental dial.
0904hrs, Sgt. Close conducted a school visit at Phillips Elementary School.
0924hrs, Deputy Morgan received a welfare check request at a residence on Shadagee Lane in Phillips.
1132hrs, Deputy Wacome, Sgt. Close and Deputy Morgan responded to a residence on the Ridge Road in Chesterville where a person there was in mental health crises. After a period of time the person agreed to be transported to Maine General Hospital for an evaluation.
1133hrs, Deputy Maccione received a complaint of ice that had fallen off the roof of a passing vehicle which struck the complainant’s windshield on Main Street in Kingfield. Beau Indovina (34) of Kernsville NC was driving a 2025 Freightliner when the incident occurred.
1140hrs, Deputy Morgan received a late report of a car vs. deer accident which allegedly occurred on Main Street in Kingfield. No report was taken because this had occurred last week.
1436hrs, Deputy Morgan investigated what turned out to be a civil issue on Willow Drive in New Vineyard.
1510hrs, Sgt. Couture investigated a harassment complaint on West Kingfield Road in Kingfield.
1601hrs, Deputy Brann received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle on the New Sharon Road in Industry This was a flagger’s vehicle which was parked.
1741hrs, Deputy Brann responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on the Lane Road in New Sharon. No charges were filed, however a person agreed to leave the residence.
01/07/2025 0539hrs, Deputy Morgan responded to a report of an unattended death at a residence on Main Street in Kingfield. The death was determined to be of natural causes. Wiles funeral home responded to the scene.
1106hrs, Deputy Wacome received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle parked on the New Sharon Road in Industry. This was the same flagger’s vehicle that was complained about the day before.
1328hrs, Deputy Wacome received a 911 call at a residence on Judkins Road in Carthage. The source of the call was not located.
1427hrs, Deputy Elmes received a request for a welfare check complaint on the Howard Road in Salem Twp. As a result of the check, Elmes transported the person to FMH to be evaluated.
1544hrs, Deputy Brann responded to a report of an unattended death at a residence on Kyes Hill Road in Industry. Investigation revealed that the death was not suspicious. Wiles funeral home responded to the scene.
1648hrs, Deputy Elmes responded to a car vs. deer accident on Bridge Street in Phillips.
1848hrs, Deputy Brann received a 911 call at a residence on the Paul Road in Chesterville. This was an accidental dial.
2108hrs, Deputy Elmes received a 911 call at a residence on the Rangeley Road in Coplin Plt. This was an accidental dial.
0108/2025 0825hrs, Deputy Wacome investigated a trespass complaint on the Adams Road in Chesterville.
0901hrs, Deputy Morgan responded to a report of a tractor trailer that blown off the road and rolled over onto its side just north of the Causeway in Eustis on Arnold Trail. Vincent Dumont (36) of Marston Quebec was driving a 2020 Western tractor trailer hauling an empty boxcar northbound when a combination of ice and extreme wind blew his truck onto its side causing it to roll over to its right. No injuries were reported; however, several utility poles were taken down as a result, CMP was notified. DEP was notified at the request of Eustis Fire Officials who were assisting at the scene. Trooper Jedidiah Malcore from the commercial vehicle enforcement unit of the State Police also assisted at the scene. Dutch Gap Auto sent it large recovery vehicle to remove it from the scene.
0944hrs, Sgt. Sholan investigated a report of a potentially suicidal person at a residence on Baker Hill Road in Salem Twp.
1014hrs, Deputy Maccione conducted a traffic stop on the Mercer Road in New Sharon. As a result of the stop Chester Newall (65) of Mercer was charged with Operating without a license.
1059hrs, Sgt. Sholan responded to a medical emergency at a residence on Route 27 in New Vineyard.
1406hrs, Deputy Morgan responded to a report of a single vehicle accident on the Salem Road in Phillips. Doris Philbrick (91) of Phillips was driving a Toyota Rav 4 was driving a westbound when he crossed the center line and drove into a tree.
1536hrs, Sgt. Sholan received a 911 call at a business on the Fairbanks Road in Farmington. This was an accidental dial.
1552hrs, Deputy Maccione received a request for a welfare check to be conducted at a residence on Horseshoe Pond Road in Chesterville. The person to be checked on was located and found to be okay.
1636hrs, Sgt. Clement responded to a report of a mattress in the Town Farm Road in Farmington. This was gone upon arrival.
1638hrs, Deputy Maccione received a complaint of a suspicious package located at Farmington Towing in Farmington.
1703hrs, Sgt. Clement responded to a two-car parking lot accident at McDonald’s in Farmington. No injuries were reported.
2008hrs, Deputy Maccione responded to a residence on the Interval Road in Temple and arrested Kelly Ross (38) of Strong on a Warrant.
2132hrs, Deputy Elmes received a 911 call at a residence on Freeman Ridge Road in Kingfield. This was an accidental dial.
01/09/2025 0154hrs, Sgt. Clement received a business alarm at the Corner Store in Chesterville. This was determined to be a false alarm.
0657hrs, Deputy Morgan assisted a tractor trailer driver whose truck was stuck in the snow off Route 4 in Avon.
0850hrs, Deputy Morgan responded to a report of a tractor trailer accident on Ledge Hill in Arnold Trail in Chain of Ponds Twp. Delbert Degree (58) of St. Johnsbury VT was driving a 2018 Peterbilt southbound when he lost control and ran off the road down a steep embankment striking a utility pole, guard rail and trees.
1314hrs, Deputy Frost responded to Cape Cod Hill School in New Sharon regarding an out-of-control juvenile there. The child calmed down upon his arrival.
01/10/2025 0826hrs, Sgt. Sholan assisted Dutch Gap Auto with traffic control as they removed a tractor trailer from an accident scene in Chain of Ponds Twp.
0845hrs, Lt. St. Laurent investigated a complaint of a SORNA violation at a residence on the Falls Road in Carthage.
0905hrs, Sgt. Sholan assisted Stratton Schools with their new radios.
1100hrs, Deputy Maccione received a complaint of a pickup parked in a bad location on the Barker Road in New Vineyard.
1609hrs, Deputy Tyler responded to a report of a single vehicle accident on the Weld Road in Phillips. Johnathan Jacques (19) of Mexico was driving a 2015 Subaru Forester when he lost control and ran off the road.
1803hrs, Sgt. Couture investigated a complaint of a possible intoxicated driver on the Salem Road in Freeman Twp. He was unable to intercept.
2116hrs, Deputy Brann investigated a threatening complaint at Flagstaff Landing in Eustis.
